Adorable Strawberry Love Monsters: A Delightful Valentine’s Day Treat

DSC_0072

On Valentine’s Day, strawberries and chocolate make for a classic gift.

Why not add a playful twist to your gifts with some whimsical Strawberry Love Monsters?

These charming treats are perfect for kids and might even bring a smile to your partner’s face.

Ingredients you’ll need:
– Strawberries
– Paper straws
– Melting chocolate (I prefer Godiva)
– Candy eyes (available at Target)
– White icing (for decorating)

Begin by inserting straws into the strawberries, aiming for the center of the stem. Once done, set them aside momentarily.

Melt your chocolate using the microwave. Heat it for 15 seconds at a time, stirring in between until you achieve a smooth consistency.

Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, then place a candy eye on top. Set aside to cool.

Once all strawberries are coated, refrigerate them until the chocolate firms up.

Afterwards, take them out and use the white icing to draw cheerful faces.

These delightful monsters can be enjoyed immediately or kept in the fridge until you’re ready to present them to your loved ones.
