As a parent to two older kids, I always found running errands quite challenging. It seemed they would either get cranky or fall asleep in the car, leading to hurried shopping trips. Using the app is straightforward. You can browse by category, check for sales, or follow my approach by typing the items into the search field and adding them to your cart. The app automatically calculates discounts, and your cart remains saved for several days. I tried turning it into a “shopping list,” adding things as they came to mind over a few days, and when I was set to collect my order, I just checked out.

Moreover, you can utilize your ExtraCare Rewards for purchases made through the app. I can’t emphasize enough how this all-in-one app has saved me time, reduced stress, and helped me manage my expenses.

Once you’ve placed your order, it’s simply a matter of awaiting a text alerting you that your order is ready. I frequently run other errands and find that my order is typically prepared by the time I’m returning home. When you arrive at your CVS location, find a designated “Curbside” spot or any available space near the entrance and park. There’s no need to leave your car (yes! let those napping kids continue sleeping!) – just reply “here” to the text indicating your order is ready while keeping the CVS app open, and within minutes, they’ll deliver your order right to your vehicle.

During the busy holiday season, it can feel like there’s no time to spare, let alone complete all your shopping. This app has truly been a game changer for our family, ensuring we are always stocked up on essential household items. No more “Mom! We’re out of toilet paper!” moments.
